Tuesday, August 31 from 8.00 pm at the Villa of Geggiano, there will be the show The Singing Orpheus in Villa, nightly evocations of heroines, heroes, warriors and demigods.
The evening will include a aperitif in the splendid area adjacent to the Villa with a view of Siena and, subsequently, a tasting with food and wine specialities of the area served at tables set by candlelight, where the 200 or so participants will attend a musical theatre works performed by students, alumni and teachers of theISSM Conservatory of Siena.
As happened in the past in Geggiano, imaginary guests of the Villa will delight in staging stories of heroes and heroines, warriors and demigods, recalled and evoked by the place and the refined surrounding nature and emphasized by lights and architectural projections. Among them, a great interpreter of Italian opera: Laura Polverelli.
In case of bad weather the evening will be held on Wednesday, September 1.
